In the Heat of the Moment, the Story techniflows Shared
Hello, this is techniflows! đ
We recently had a meaningful time participating in the âIP Startup Clubâ hosted by the Daejeon Intellectual Property Center. This event was organized to revitalize a startup ecosystem based on intellectual property (IP), bringing together early-stage founders with innovative ideas and experts from various fields.
At this meaningful gathering, techniflows gave a presentation on the theme of âminiOpsâ, focusing on the challenges companies currently face when adopting AI and the market opportunities we see. Weâd like to share what it was like on-site, where we could clearly feel the intense interest in AI technology from the attentive eyes of the audience.
Why Does AI Adoption Still Feel Like "Someone Elseâs Story"?
The Barriers of Cost, Talent, and Security
We opened the talk with the question, âWhy is AI adoption still so difficult?â While the news talks about AI innovation almost daily, many companies in the field are still hesitant to adopt it. We pinpointed the reasons behind this hesitation.
The biggest issues are, unsurprisingly, astronomical implementation costs and a shortage of AI specialists. Existing MLOps (Machine Learning Operations) solutions are designed for large-scale cloud environments, making initial costs extremely high, and the salaries of engineers capable of operating these systems are soaring as well. On top of that, having to send critical company data to external clouds creates serious security concerns.
As a result, many mid-sized and small businesses recognize the need for AI, but end up stopping short in front of these very real âentry barriers.â Thatâs the unfortunate reality today.
A Huge Opportunity Discovered in the Midst of Crisis

Zeroing In on the Small-Scale On-Premise GPU Market
However, techniflows has discovered a new opportunity within these very problems. As we showed in our presentation materials, startup costs are decreasing worldwide thanks to AI-driven innovation, and the number of new startups is increasing exponentially. This means that demand for small, efficient AI infrastructure is set to skyrocket.
Rather than massive, large-scale systems, we are focusing on the âsmall-scale GPU (1â4 units) on-premise market.â It might seem like a niche that others overlook, but our analysis shows that the global MLOps market will reach approximately 46 trillion KRW by 2030, and the segment weâre targeting alone has a potential size of about 760 billion KRW! đ
Envisioning a World Where Anyone Can Easily Use AI
The miniOps solution from techniflows pinpoints this market need precisely.
It lowers complex technical barriers so that even non-experts can easily operate AI models, and by utilizing internal servers (on-premise) instead of external clouds, it neatly resolves data security concerns. We donât just want to sell software; we want to provide âthe speed at which anyone with an idea can turn AI technology into reality.â
The Challenge of techniflows Continues
Our presentation at the IP Startup Club reaffirmed that we are on the right pathâand that many people have been waiting for a solution like this. During the networking session that followed, many attendees expressed strong agreement with the value of miniOps, which made us truly proud.
Going forward, techniflows will continue breaking down technological barriers so that more companies and founders can enjoy the benefits of AI. Stay tuned! â¨
