Hello, this is the marketer at 테크니플로우즈!
Today, I’d like to share a vivid recap of our team’s participation in the “2025 Startup-Centered University HIPS FINAL IR AWARDS” held at the Sunshine Hotel in Daejeon, where we carried out a banner pitching session. Although we weren’t on stage giving a formal presentation, it was a meaningful time where we encapsulated our unique technology and vision into a single banner and live demo, and connected with many people on-site.
Let us take you into that passion-filled scene!
📸 The techniflows Technology That Made Many People Stop in Their Tracks

At our booth set up on one side of the venue, we showcased techniflows’ core solutions, VideoMasker and miniOps. Our CEO, Donghun Kim, personally held a laptop and gave live demonstrations, explaining our services to each visitor one by one.
The point we emphasized the most was “powerful security that never lets data leave the system”.
Many stakeholders showed deep interest in our cloud-free architecture, where all computations are performed on a local GPU server with no worries about cloud costs, and our technology that automatically de-identifies sensitive information in videos using only a web browser. Especially with data privacy issues being more critical than ever, it was truly rewarding to meet so many people who resonated with our vision of “realizing data sovereignty”.
🏆 We Didn’t Take First Place, But We Gained Greater ‘Conviction’
The honorable first place in this banner pitching session went to CEO Jiseon Jung of KwithU! We also heard that they took the grand prize in the IR pitching category as well, sweeping both categories, which was truly impressive. Our sincere congratulations! 👏
Although we didn’t receive the first-place prize, what was far more valuable than rankings were the questions and feedback pouring in on-site.
“Does everything really get processed in the browser without any server transmission?” “A SaaS and on-device hybrid approach sounds like it would be very effective for cost reduction.”
Receiving such specific questions reaffirmed that the direction we’re pursuing with our “privacy-first architecture” clearly meets real market needs. We may not have gotten a trophy, but it felt like we received a much bigger prize—the voice of customers and the market!
💡 The ‘Keys to Growth’ We Learned from IR Pitches and Reverse Pitching
Another reason this event was special is that we were able to attend other startups’ IR presentations and investors’ reverse pitching sessions.
Watching other companies’ fiercely polished business models and presentation skills made us deeply reflect on the question, “How can we communicate our technology in a way that’s easier to understand and more compelling?” It was an opportunity to realize how crucial it is not just to claim that the technology is good, but to clearly convince people of the tangible value it delivers to customers.
A Peek into the Investor’s Perspective: Reverse Pitching
What was especially striking was the reverse pitching session, where investors themselves took the stage to share their investment philosophy and what they look for in startups.
Typically, startups are the ones working hard to impress investors, but seeing investors instead trying to persuade and appeal to startups was a refreshing shock. Learning about the macro perspective investors have on the market and their insights into current trends gave us hints for refining techniflows’ roadmap more precisely going forward.
🤝 The Power of Growing Together: Networking
The real highlight of events like this is networking! It was truly enjoyable to speak with CEOs from various companies who are driving innovation in different fields, not just techniflows.
As we shared our struggles and explored possible technical collaboration points, we gained a sense of camaraderie and energy—“We’re not the only ones having a hard time; everyone is running this hard.” We are confident that this network will serve as a solid nutrient for techniflows’ future growth.
For us, the HIPS FINAL IR AWARDS was far more than just a competition. It was a precious opportunity to validate our technology, broaden our perspective, and gain reliable peers.
We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us. Based on the insights we gained on-site, we’ll keep running without rest until the day we realize data sovereignty for everyone.
Please look forward to an even more advanced techniflows! ✨
